The B2235 follows the pre-bypass route of the A22 north of the Surrey village of Godstone.
The road starts at a roundabout in the village centre where the A25 bears right from the High Street onto Oxted Road; this junction is actually a roundabout and a half, with southbound B2235 traffic having to give way twice.
We head north, climbing Godstone Hill, which is largely residential. On the northern edge of town we reach a signalised roundabout where the road ends - this is M25 J6, where we also meet the A22.
