The B2238 is the possible number for a short road in Newhaven. The road was originally numbered B2109 and maps and signs claim this is still the number. However, whereas some official documents give the road that number, others do allow the road to be the B2238.
The road starts on the northern side of town by turning left off the A26 at a triangular junction. It follows Avis Road, which is partially residential, through South Heighton and Mount Pleasant. It's not long before a roundabout is reached, where the road ends on the A259, although if this is indeed the B2109 this point actually forms the start of a multiplex.
