The B236 is a short B-road in southeast London. The road was originally unclassified but is numerically the first new Class II road in the area, suggesting it dates to the early 1920s.
The road starts at traffic lights on the B218 and heads east along the residential Adelaide Avenue. We pass the open space of Hilly Fields Park on the left, after which the road bends round to the right to a mini-roundabout where it turns left.
The road continues east along Ladywell Road, running along the main shopping street of Ladywell then over the railway line just north of Ladywell station. On the far side we cross the Ravensbourne River and continue on to traffic lights where we end on the A21 Lewisham High Street.
