The B253 is a short link road through Belvedere in north Kent. The route, which was built in the 1980s, first opened as a section of the A2016.
Starting at a roundabout junction with the B213 adjacent to Asda, it heads north along Picardy Manorway. The road immediately rises to cross the North Kent Line just east of Belvedere railway station and continues between housing on the left and industrial premises on the right but without access to either. Presently the road reaches a roundabout on the A2016, where it ends.
