This article is about the original B25.
For the current B25, see B25 (Isle of Man).
For the current B25, see B25 (Isle of Man).
The original B25 started on the B21 at Patrick Village and headed east to Station Road in St Johns, then continuing south east to the A4 at The Hope. This last section appears to have originally been known as Hope Road, but is now Foxdale Road. From the information available it appears that Station Road was not originally classified. The whole route was renumbered by 1963, the western part as far as St Johns becoming the A30, while Hope / Foxdale Road became the southern part of the A40.
The Manx Government Circular 1131 of 25/02/1926 defines this route as: Knockaloe to St. Johns (including Hope-road to Patrick boundary)
