The B3005, which runs along Alma Lane north of Farnham in Surrey, allows local traffic to cut the corner between the A325 and the A3016 (leading to the A287).
Starting at traffic lights on the A325 Farnborough Road, the B3005 climbs westward along the residential Alma Lane. The road levels out as it reaches the suburb of Upper Hale and it's not long before the end of the route is reached, at another set of lights on the A3016, Upper Hale Road.
The current classification dates to the 1970s: before that, the route was part of the A3016.
