The B316 is a short link road near Earl's Court. It was originally much longer; owing to its truncation and the fact that the A4 no longer runs on its original route the B316 is wholly out-of-zone.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A315 Kensington High Street and heads south along Earl's Court Road. Just over a quarter of a mile later, by St Philip's Church, it merges into the A3220 one-way system (the B316 is two-way in its entirety) which continues Earl's Court Road southwards.
Originally the A3220 did not exist and so the B316 continued the full length of Earl's Court Road, before crossing the A3218 and running along Redcliffe Gardens. It ended on the A304 (now A308) Fulham Road.
