|Route outline (key)|
The B3220 is a rural B-road in mid-Devon.
The route starts on the A377 by Morchard Road station and heads roughly northwestwards. After a more-or-less straight S2 stretch the road crosses the River Yeo and then becomes more winding. It passes to the south of Coldridge before crossing the River Taw. A couple of featureless miles later the road ends on the A3124 Winkleigh bypass. Interestingly the B3220 goes through no villages at all on its route.
The B3220 used to continue beyond Winkleigh to Great Torrington, where it ended on the A386. In 1997 the A3124 was created, taking over this section and cutting the road back to its present length.
