The B3256 was a rural B-road near Callington in southeast Cornwall.
It connected the A390 with the A388 by running around the north side of Kit Hill.
In 1935, the road was renumbered as an eastern extension of the B3257, which it remains.
B3255/B3256 OS Mapping error
On several One Inch Fifth Edition sheets between 1932 and 1934, the B3255 was labelled as B3256. However, the 1936 sheet labels it as B3255, and the contemporary Ten Mile Road Maps all consistently show B3255 for the road. It is therefore most likely to be a mapping error on those sheets.
