For the current B3280 near Marazion, see B3280.
The B3280 was a rural B-road to the north of Truro in Cornwall.
It started on the A39 on the eastern edge of Truro and headed north via Trispen to meet the A30 at Carland Cross. There was a multiplex of about a mile east along the A30 to Mitchell before the B3280 regained its number and continued north to end on the B3278 at Gummow's Shop.
The road was obviously important from the beginning as it was soon upgraded to Class I status, becoming the A3076 by the 1930s. This lasted until the 1990s when the section of the A39 between the A30 and A390 was moved westwards. It took over the majority of the ex-B3280 (with the old A39 being renumbered B3275). Improvements of the A39 in this area have left much of the former B3280 bypassed and unclassified. The former B3280 north of the A30 is unimproved and remains the A3076.
