The B3390 is a largely rural B-road in south Dorset.
The road starts at a somewhat spread-out GSJ on the A35 between Tolpuddle and Bere Regis and heads roughly southwards to Affpuddle. It bypasses the centre of this small village and then continues on as it crosses the wooded Affpuddle Heath.
After a narrow bridge across the River Frome the road follows a dead-straight route southwestwards across the fields, going across the South Western Main Line at a level crossing by Moreton station and then running through Crossways. The road becomes more winding as it crosses Warmwell Heath to reach Warmwell itself. After running through the centre of the village a roundabout is reached where the road ends. Ahead is the A353 and the A352 forms the other two directions.
