|Route outline (key)|
The B4219 is a short link road near the Malverns. It is marked as unsuitable for HGVs owing to its narrowness and bendiness.
It starts on the A4103 at Storridge. From here it heads southeast towards the Malvern Hills but, skirting the north side of North Hill, avoids any steep climbs. After entering the Malvern urban area the B4219 follows Cowleigh Road, at the end of which it terminates at a convergence with the B4232 which – running almost parallel to our route at this point – has descended the slope to our right.
A curiosity is that at its eastern end the route is signposted from the B4232 as Bromyard B4219 / Hereford B4219 – despite the fact that the B4219 does not, in fact, go all the way to either place, and with the route number inexplicably shown twice.
