|Route outline (key)|
The B4302 was a short B-road in eastern Carmarthenshire.
It started adjacent to the Glamorganshire border on the A475 on the edge of Pontarddulais and headed southwest through Llangennech before meeting the B4303 in the Pemberton area of Llanelli. The road ended a short distance further on, where it met the A48.
The road was quickly upgraded to Class I status, becoming part of the A4138 by 1932. Later still in the 1990s, presumably to improve access to Llanelli from the M4, most of the ex-B4302 was bypassed. The old road was downgraded again and is now part of the B4297.
