The B4311 is a loop off the A484 to serve the Carmarthenshire town of Burry Port.
The road starts on the A484 at Pembrey and heads east through town. It crosses the Swansea-Carmarthen Railway Line and runs parallel to the line most of the distance to Pembrey & Burry Port station.
Originally the B4311 turned left here and passed the station before following Church Road back to the A484 at Dyfatty. This section is now unclassified and the B4311 continues ahead along the current bypass. Several roundabouts and a bridge over the railway line later it ends back on the A484 by New Lodge.
