This article is about the planned duplicate, quickly renumbered B4642, in Rugby.

The B4500 number was allocated around 2010 to the bypassed section of the A4071 road in Rugby, running southwestwards from the town centre to meet the old road nearly a mile this side of the A46. Signs were erected to show the B4500 number; however, when Warwickshire County Council realised it was a duplicate, a new sign was erected showing a number of B4642. Soon after this, the other signs were patched to also show B4642, so it is safe to say the B4500 number will not be used here.
