The B4547 is a short road in north Caernarfonshire. The road number came to the area in the mid-1930s.
The road starts at a roundabout at the southern end of the A4087 to the south of Capel-y-graig. The main road here is the A487 and to begin with we head southwest along the pre-bypass line of that road before TOTSOing left at the original northern starting-point of our road. After going under the main road we wind to the southeast, climbing through a wood, before becoming straighter and flatter as we head towards Elidir Fawr. We descend gently to a roundabout where the road ends. Right is the B4366 whilst the A4244 runs left and ahead.
The A4244 did not exist until the 2000s and so the B4547 continued southeast along its present route. On the approach to Moel Rhiwen it bore right to avoid the mountains and then went through Brynrefail and crossed the Afon Rhythallt to end on the A4086 on the shore of Llyn Padarn. Some of this section, particularly the southern end, has been upgraded.
