This article is about the B454 in North West London. For another B454 in West London running between Brentford and Southall, see B454 (Brentford - Southall).
Pub on Church Lane
This incarnation of the B454, in the London Borough of Brent, is the original one.
The route begins at a double roundabout, where the A4140 also has its southernmost point, off the A4088. There is also a one-way slip road, Old Church Lane, for Southbound traffic that wishes to head towards Neasden, and maps show this also as classified; this road is the original route of the B454.
Otherwise the road heads north-south between this junction and the A4006 Kingsbury Road as Church Road, ending at traffic lights.
Because of its proximity to Wembley, the southernmost section is part of the restricted parking zone when there are events - but this does not stretch down the whole road so the edges of this zone can get busy at times when there are such events on. For those who do park here, they can walk through the Chalkhill Road estate to get to Wembley quicker.
