The B4568 is a largely rural B-road in south Montgomeryshire. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in 1935.
The route runs from Pont-dôl-goch and Llangwnog in the west through Newtown to Aberbechan in the east, the main line of the route staying on the northern side of the River Severn throughout. However, at Newtown two short branches (660 m and 230 m long) cross the town's two bridges to connect to the A483 and A489 on the south bank of the river.
