The B4622 is a short link road to the west of Bridgend town centre. The road was built in the 2000s as part of the housing estate it runs through and was presumably classified from the outset.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A473 (the original line of the A48) and goes south, providing access to the suburb of Broadlands as a distributor: no buildings front onto the B4622. The road ends after less than a mile at a roundabout junction with the present A48 bypass.
