For the original B5080 in Winsford, see B5080 (Winsford).
The B5080 is a short road in the eastern suburbs of Tamworth. The road was constructed around 1980 as part of the growth of the town.
The road starts at a large roundabout on the B5000 and heads south through the suburb of Stoneydelph along a road called Pennine Way. As is usual for a road of this type no buildings front onto the B5080 but we pass a number of residential side streets (many named after places in the Pennines).
We zigzag left then right and pass the back of the industrial estate next to Tamworth services. A roundabout is soon reached; this is the northern roundabout at a GSJ with the A5 and provides access to/from the eastbound A5. Maps show that the B5080 continues on to the second roundabout to meet that road's westbound slip roads and the B5404 (pre-bypass A5)
