|Route outline (key)|
The B5141 is an urban B-road in the northwest corner of the Wirral.
The road starts just to the south of the church in Caldy, where the B5140 bends right and merges seamlessly into the B5141. From here it heads northwestwards along the edge of Caldy Hill, the road becoming more and more urban the further it continues. Eventually it reaches the edge of West Kirby, and the road TOTSOs left and doubles back in itself to cross over the Wirral Country Park (a dismantled railway line), heading to the coast.
Just before reaching the Dee Estuary the B5141 bends right and heads north once more, parallel to the river along Banks Road. Houses turn into shops as the centre of West Kirby draws closer. Eventually the road reaches a T-junction and TOTSOs right into Dee Lane, to end one block further on at a T-junction with the A540.
