The B520 is a short link road in Kilburn in north London. The road was originally unclassified. However, its number is the first B5xx in central London to come into existence following the original 1922 classification, which suggests the B520 dates to the mid-1920s.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A5 Kilburn High Road between the Jubilee Line and North London Line, both of which remain close to the B520. It heads east along Iverson Road, a street name it keeps for its entire length.
We soon go under the Jubilee Line and continue along a nondescript residential road. The road has parking spaces marked out on both sides but no central white line except around traffic islands. We soon pass West Hampstead Thameslink station (on yet another railway line) on the left, after which we continue a short distance further on to end at traffic lights on the B510 West End Lane.
