The now-unclassified former B5223 Cornbrook Street

The B5223 was a short link road to the south of Manchester city centre, linking the B5219 Moss Lane West in Moss Side with the A5067 Stretford Road in Old Trafford.

The road is now partially unclassified and partially impassable to motor traffic. The section east of the B5218 Chorlton Road has been completely redeveloped and is not even traceable from the air; the section to the west is still a public road but the central section has been pedestrianised.
