The B534 is a short link road in north County Fermanagh. The road was originally unclassified but became part of an extension of the B123 in the late 1920s; this didn't last long and it was soon declassified again. However, it was later deemed appropriate for the road to have Class II status and so the B534 number came into being; it is not known why the B123 number was not used again.
The road starts on the A47 in Lisnarick and heads east past the green and children's playground. It takes a while for us to leave town but we soon reach open country and continue across the fields along Lisnarick Road. After a straight section, a few bends take us over a ridge before the road straightens out once more. It's not long before we reach Irvinestown; the ribbon development stretches some way in our direction. The road then becomes traffic-calmed, then we follow Church Street to end at a roundabout on the A32 in the market square.
