The B5388 is a short road in the south Midlands. It was originally unclassified but gained its number around 1930.
Starting on the A428 to the east of Yardley Hastings the road heads southeast across flat land, going round a number of bends and passing through a wood. Presently the road starts to descend into Olney. It reaches a roundabout on the near side of town, where it crosses an unclassified bypass, but the B5388 continues into town along Yardley Road. The road ends by a small green at the northern end of the A509 High Street.
