The B5 is a short B-road across the breadth of the Ards Peninsula in County Down.
The road starts at a mini-roundabout on the A20 in Greyabbey and heads northeast along Main Street to a T-junction, where it TOTSOs right. The road soon reaches open country. It continues eastwards before skirting Ballywalter Park to reach the centre of Ballywalter. Eventually the sea becomes visible and the B5 descends steeply to end at a T-junction on the A2 (which was originally numbered B11 here).
