The B6006 is a short link road in the Nottingham suburb of Beeston.
The route starts at traffic lights on the A52 in the suburb of Bramcote Hills and heads south-east along Wollaton Road, passing Beeston Cemetery and a golf course before reaching the centre of town. Here we cross what was once part of the A453 (High Road and The Square, both now pedestrianized) at a zigzag intersection before continuing along Station Road. A signalized crossing of the B6464 is soon followed by arrival at the south-eastern terminus of our route, at another set of lights on the A6005.
Before the opening, in 1933, of the A6005 (originally A453) Beeston southern bypass – and for a number of years thereafter – the B6006 had extended a further 275 m, ending at what used to be a level crossing next to Beeston railway station.
