The B6027 is a useful, albeit short, road, connectng the village of Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, to the A38.
Starting in Hurthwaite village centre, the road heads south and drops steeply downhill, leaving the village, and entering a large industrial area. There is a slight kink in an oddly straight road, before we reach a set of traffic lights where the road ends.
This junction with the A38 used to be far simpler; however in 2008, a large industrial area was built to the south of the A38 and so this junction was widened considerably to accommodate the entrance to the area.
