The B6028 is a short link road in the Nottinghamshire town of Sutton in Ashfield. It has a suburban feel for its entire length.
Beginning at a crossroads with the B6023 (former A615) in central Sutton, it heads northwestwards as Stoneyford Road through residential districts and a green area with playing fields to the right and a riding-trail access to Brierley Forest Country Park, on the site of a former colliery, to the left.
Terraced houses line the road as we enter Stanton Hill, and after crossing Brand Lane / New Lane at a signalised intersection the route continues for a further 300 m along Stanton Hill High Street to end at a roundabout junction with the B6014.
