The B6093 is a short link road running between the A631 and A630 to the east of Rotherham.
The road has three southern ends on the A631 to the west of junction 1 of the M18. Northbound traffic starts at traffic lights at a corner of Bramley Park and heads north along Church Lane to a mini-roundabout on Main Street. Turn right for the southbound route. The road splits at the next mini-roundabout, with the road ahead running into the eastbound A631 whilst the road to the right reaches the main road at traffic lights by the King Henry pub; here traffic may turn in both directions.
Two-way traffic heading northwest along Main Street soon reaches a further mini-roundabout where it turns right onto Brook Lane, which soon becomes Moor Lane South. The route now climbs gently through an area of suburban housing, although most of the right-hand side of the road is open fields. After running through a small built-up area surrounding a crossroads, the road becomes Moor Lane North, mostly with fields on both sides, before reaching the small and leafy village of Old Ravenfield.
At the northern edge of the village the road crosses a bridge over a disused railway cutting before descending Ravenfield Lane, which gets steep in places, to end at a T-junction on the A630 immediately southwest of Hooton Roberts.
