|Route outline (key)|
The B6110 is a short link road to the south of Huddersfield.
The road starts on the B6108 in the suburb of Armitage Bridge and heads east along Armitage Road, narrowing almost immediately. The road has the air of an unclassified residential road.
The road widens to bend sharply to the right before narrowing again until it reaches an old factory, now offices. There is enough space between the factory and the stream for the B6110 to be S2. The road then zigzags to cross the stream, across the narrow Armitage Bridge itself, before splitting at a one-way system. In this direction traffic bears left to run along Carriage Drive to reach the A616 in Berry Brow. Westbound traffic leaves the A616 a short distance to the south to run down the much-shorter Stockwell Hill.
