The B6172 was a short link road in Ashton-under-Lyne.
The road started on the A670 Cricket's Lane and headed northeast along Whiteacre Road. It ended at the far end of the road on the B6173 Queen's Road.
The road is now part of an extended B6194; the change must have happened in or before 1935 as that is when the number was reused.
