The B6173 was a short link road in of Ashton-under-Lyne.
The road started on the A670 Mossley Road to the east of the town centre. It headed north along Queen's Road, meeting the B6172 en route, before reaching the centre of Hurst. It ended on an unclassified road at the junction with King's Road.
The road is now part of an extended B6194 and has been since at least the 1940s.
