The original B6 started on the A3 at the north end of Sulby Bridge and headed north through St Judes to Andreas, where it met the A9, and then on to Bride where it ended on the A10. It was entirely renumbered as the A17 before 1963.
The Manx Government Circular 1131 of 25/02/1926 defines this route as: Sulby Bridge to Bride via Andreas
