The B732 is a short link road to the north west of the small town of Thornhill in Nithsdale. It starts at a T junction on the A76 at Langmyre Mains 500 metres north-north-west of Thornhill, and first heads southeastwards through trees before turning south as it descends a long straight towards the river bank. The route soon comes to an end at a triangular junction on the A702 (former B730) some 400 metres west of the town. A short distance to the south, the B731 completes the pseudo western bypass back to the A76.
The 1922 MOT Road List defines this route as: Nith Bridge - Junction with A76 North of Thornhill
