This article is about the B877 in Thurso.

For the former B877 on the Isle of Bute, see B877 (Isle of Bute).
According to the Highland Council's list of adopted roads, the B877 follows High Street and Shore Street in Thurso, connecting the A9 to the quay. The fact that the first part of this route - its only connection with another classified road - is pedestrianised seems to have been forgotten.
The road definitely had Class II status from at least the 1930s, when such status would have been normal and the road a definite through route, so perhaps the road remains classified due to an oversight. However, it has not appeared as a B road on OS maps for some time.
