Balfarg Junction is the junction of the A92 and B969 in Glenrothes, Fife.
History
The junction that currently exists was built as a temporary layout until further roadbuilding in the Glenrothes new town was completed. The A92 was to be fully dualled and grade separated within the Glenrothes area and the junction at Balfarg would have been upgraded to a roundabout interchange. An additional dual carriageway was planned to head east from the junction to provide access to development where the golf course is. This never happened.
