Ballabeg Corner being prepared for racing

Ballabeg Corner is a T junction TOTSO where the A7 and A28 meet in the village of Ballabeg. It is the north west corner of the Southern 100 Course, a short motorbike road racing circuit, and is also known as Ballabeg Hairpin due to the severity of the turn in the race. The A7 approaches from Ballasalla to the east and comes to a wide bellmouth with the A28 coming in from the left and the A7 continuing north through the village.

Due to the curvature of the road a little further north, the junction between the A7 and B42 also appears to be referred to as Ballabeg Corner, but the name is used at the A28 junction for the race circuit, so this is presumably correct.
