Ballievey Bridge (or Ballievy Bridge) crosses the River Bann east of Banbridge, County Down.
The original bridge was a suspension bridge by James Dredge; built in 1831-2. It was subject to a 2T weight restriction and collapsed on 12th September 1988 when an overweight vehicle attempted to cross[1]. It was replaced with a simple concrete structure.
