Bankhead interchange is junction 8 of the M80. It was junction 5 until 2011, when the completion of the M80 led to the renumbering of junctions on its northern section. It requires no number as a junction on the M876, there being no exit here from the M876.

It was built in the 1960s as a junction between the then A80 and A876, but both roads were upgraded to motorway in 1974.
