Barrangary Roundabout was built in 2014 to join the new Barrangary Road to the A8. Barrangary Road heads south west, climbing the hill and then turns north east to serve the new housing developments on the hillside above Bishopton. The road eventually links back to Chestnut Roundabout, also on the A8, to the west of Bishopton. The junction is a simple 3 arm roundabout, with the northern arm of the A8 having been turned slightly on the approach to maintain the north east boundary line.
