Bishopmill Roundabout in Elgin lies at the northern junction between the A96 and the A941. The A941 heads north, across the River Lossie into the Bishopmill part of Elgin, and ultimately to Lossiemouth. The roundabout is located on the town centre relief road to the north of the former A96 line along the High Street, and to the west of the older A941 route along Lossie Wynd. Both routes were diverted to the new roundabout when the relief road was built. The A96 runs east-west, along the back of the St Giles Shopping Centre, and the two routes multiplex for a short distance to the west.
The roundabout is a 3-arm junction, with a small island. All approaches have two lanes, with the eastern arm of the A96 having three, although there is little benefit to this as the left hand two are marked for straight on, and the western arm exit quickly reduces to a single lane. In the north west corner of the junction sits the modern Town Hall, a concrete eyesore to many, surrounded by 'out of town' retail premises.
