The rather unfortunately names Bog Roundabout lies to the east of Falkirk, and turns the A9 north around the town, after heading west from the M9 motorway. It was built in the early 1990s, and all three arms were new build at a similar time, designed to relieve Falkirk town centre of through traffic. The third arm is the B805, which is a very short dual carriageway connecting the A9 with its former route, which is now the A803 a little to the south.
