Boyle is a town in the north midlands of Ireland, which is a final destination of the N61 (although the terminal destination is signed through to Sligo). It was bypassed by the N4 in the early 1990s with a short WS2 route that cut off a dog-leg in to the town. It has been proposed to bypass the town on the N61, but this scheme is currently suspended [1].
