For the replacement junction, see Swavesey Junction.
For the new junction 28, see Milton Interchange (Cambridgeshire).
Trinity Foot Junction (also known as Buckingway Junction and or Swavesey Junction). It was junction 28 of the A14. It was named after the nearby former public house (which itself is named after the Trinity Foot beagles).
The pub was demolished in November 2017 as part of the Huntingdon to Cambridge A14 improvement works.
Prior to the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvements, it was a fairly low-standard junction that serves the villages of Boxworth and Swavesey and provides a U-turn for a couple of side roads just to the south.
This interchange was made busier by the arrival of Extra's Cambridge services, and has been replaced completely by a new junction Swavesey Junction a short distance to the west as part of the improvements. The new interchange will consist of three roundabouts: a pair of dumbells called Swavesey Northern Roundabout and Swavesey Southern Roundabout to the west, with a satellite roundabout called Cambridge Services Roundabout to the east.
