Butterton Bridge carries a footpath across Picking Gill in Yorkshire. It was built by Monks in the 12th or 13th Century as a track on the route to Fountains Abbey.
The bridge is a scheduled monument, but by 2020 appeared on English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register for risk of structural collapse owing to decay. It was planned to be repaired during 2020.
