Bythorn Interchange is junction 15 of the A14. Oddly the B663 extends north a couple of hundred yards, ending on the former A604 that the A14 bypassed.
In 1999 plans were made to improve the safety of this and the other nearby at-grade junctions on the A14 by replacing the gaps with bridges. Two options were shortlisted but it isn't known which was preferred before the scheme was cancelled.
