The C1010 forms a loop off the A836 to the small village of Scarfskerry on the north coast. It starts in the village of Mey, next to the Castle of Mey, and finishes a few hundred metres to the west at Whitebridge. The C1010 itself, however, is over 1½ miles long as it heads north, then west and finally south east back to the A836.
