The C1030 forms a loop past the harbour in Brora. It starts on the A9 immediately south of Brora Bridge, and heads west alongside the river and past the harbour. At the end there is a tangle of pretty fishermens cottages, and the C1030 includes the spur along the eastern end of Harbour Road. However, the main line turns to double back down Gower Street, rejoining the A9 barely a hundred metres from where it started.
