The C103 passes to the north of the large Rosyth Dockyard complex. It starts on the A985 to the west of the town, and follows Caldeonia Way south, quickly turning left onto Hilton Road. After crossing the C102 at a roundabout, it follows Ferrytoll Road through to meet the B981 just west of the Ferrytoll Junction on the M90.
